  • Overview

    Be part of a small engineering team which support product development through the use of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools. 



      Perform mechanical analysis of rugged handheld scanners, mobile computers and related items.  


      • Be able to perform hands on stress and vibration analysis and have the ability to solve complex engineering problems independently.
      • Clear and concise verbal and written communication, strong motivation to succeed, and self-direction are required.
      • Working experience of Creo in part/assembly design is desirable.
      • Experience in designing injection molded plastics, Zinc, Aluminum or Magnesium die cast parts, and precision sheet metal is desirable.
      • Working experience with FEA tools, Hypermesh & Abaqus desirable.
      • Understands customer needs and reflects those needs in the support provided.
      • Develops positive relationships with other engineering disciplines.
      • May develop new tools to aid in the analysis and solving of problems. Provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of a variety of factors.
      • Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
