    You will be involved with researching innovation opportunities, discussing business requirements, developing proof of concept prototypes and delivering production ready code for use in Enterprise-ready solutions. You will be filling different roles on multiple projects including technical design, software development, system and user testing, and/or project management.


     Here are some “typical” tasks that you would be involved in:

    • Implementing computer vision or machine learning algorithms
    • Integrating a wide variety of sensors from RADARs and SONARs to cameras (2D & 3D) and hall effect sensors
    • Implementing fault-tolerant, mission critical distributed computation architecture
    • Developing android mobile applications
    • Visiting and interacting with the world’s largest enterprise customers
    • International travel to customer sites, Zebra design centers and conferences


    • Finished 3rd year
    • Must be excited and curious about 21stCentury technologies
    • Able to grasp new concepts quickly
    • Proficient with standard design patterns in C/C++ or Java
    • Implementing simultaneous localization and mapping algorithms
    • Implementing ground-based path-planning and control algorithms
    • Implementing obstacle avoidance and detection algorithms
    • Working directly with physical systems in order to conduct hardware-in-the-loop testing
    • Comfortable reviewing and implementing algorithms from technical literature
    • Able to adapt and use these patterns in innovative ways to develop custom solutions
    • Familiarity with Scripting and prototyping languages such as Python, Perl, Matlab
    • Understanding of source control such as GIT
    • Experience with concurrent programming
    • Must be highly motivated to find root causes of issues
    • Able to take initiative on issues and report results instead of waiting for task lists
    • Must be well organized with good prioritization and time management skills
    • Good presentation skills, both prepared and “on demand” talks
