    The Senior Product Manager for Mobile Device Management is also responsible for developing, maintaining, and integrating device management interfaces for our robust partner and integration ecosystem.  In this role, you would be responsible to deliver comprehensive device management solutions and services that will provide an Enterprise Class device management experience. This entails the market analysis and business management for the Security, Manageability, Connectivity, and Configuration of features across our Android portfolio. 


    As a Product Management, you will be responsible for a specific product line contribution to the overall business unit. This includes increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy to drive vision to reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand problems and challenges, and consider and develop innovative solutions for the broader market.


    • Managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products

    • Develop business relationships that align with the company’s strategy

    • Support Sales with any pre-sales opportunities and build customer relationships to enable successful pilots and post sales experience

    • Own the feature set and act as the product evangelist to build awareness
    • Contribute towards the business development of mobile device security, management and developer solutions

    • Perform market research and competitive landscape and establish competitive position against traditional competitors and consumer devices

    • Identify key partnerships and build effective relationships that drive new opportunities to monetize Zebra’s unique data assets

    • Lead Marketing efforts for features, benefits, etc. for EMM self marketing

    • Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily Development/Engineering, and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
    • Define and implement method to measure adoption of EMC SW features – EMM entitlement check

    • Develop a Strategy to co-exist with ecosystem partners and implement processes to support

    • Ensure the next gen products are integrated by tier 1 partners and share the HW roadmap with standard partners

    • Help drive Zebra's B2B Cloud Service offerings that provide enrollment, configuration, updates, analytics, and device management services for customers and partners

    • Conduct and drive Quarterly Business Reviews with EMM Partners

    • Travel as needed to visit customers, partners, attend seminars, trade shows or meet area sales personnel

    • Perform competitive analysis like-minded products or solutions and analyze product metrics, in order to make data informed decisions

    • P&L Management including: tracking of revenue, units, market share details, product cost, bookings, price/margin maintenance, inventory, and configuration management.

    • Interface with internal stakeholder groups, including senior management, marketing, engineering, chief technology office, sales, manufacturing/operations, etc. to clearly communicate market trends and requirements.

    • Works with engineering and legal to ensure the integrity, privacy, and security

    • Identify and drive development of technical documentation to partners.


    • Preferred Education:
      • Master’s Degree
    • Preferred Work Experience (years):
      • 8+ years’ experience, including 2 years as team lead and/or supervising staff
      • Season in the MDM space with a proficient understanding of MDM products
      • Strong understanding of Agile practices and has worked in a highly matrixed organization
    • Key Skills and Competencies:

      • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to interact with customers
      • Advanced market knowledge in assigned vertical, category or product line

      • Delivery of product through defined objectives
      • Multi-task and manage complex programs
      • Excellent skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
      • Ability to travel 30% of the time.
